IWR - Intelligent Word Recognition

IWR is a specialized form of ICR. It recognizes cursive, or unconstrained handwriting. ICR can only handle constrained handwriting, where all characters are separated. That is not the case in cursive writing. So the engine needs to classify entire words instead of separated characters. this is much more involved and fewer vendors offer this technology compared to ICR.
